Ginkgo Bilobo, is a fascinating tree and unbelievably found in fossils dating back 270 Million Years! It is one of the worlds oldest living tree species and I just so happen to have one growing in my back garden. Around this time of year the leaves offer a wonderful cascade of golden glow, with a resemblance to the maiden hair fern, hence the Ginkgo common name 'Maidenhair Tree'.

in this workshop we will be discovering the beauty from within this simple leaf. This workshop offers more time to explore different facets of Botanical Illustration.
